Sadly, the Brad Wolfe bio is not nearly so pretentious:
Hometown: Los Altos, California
Grew up listening to: Dinosaur Jr, Run DMC, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Grant Lee Buffalo, Arrested Development, Freedy Johnston, Steve Earle
Career highlights: My first big show on a big stage with a big band, opening for Stroke 9 as a freshman in college, not realizing till right after that all I had heard in my monitors was my acoustic guitar turned up full blast and that I probably should have alerted the sound engineer to let me hear some other instruments, then thinking to myself, "Ohhhh, so that's why it felt like me and the rest of the band were playing two different shows". . .or is that a lowlight? Pier 23 Nightclub, 2004. . .the first time I stopped singing and heard the crowd continue the lyrics to Tall Grass. A ridiculous feeling. And not to get sentimental or anything, but anytime I'm in the studio or playing a show with the amazingly talented guys in this band, then looking out from the stage on a sea of friends, fans, and family. . . I'm definitely living the dream.
Favorite concerts of all time: Growing up so close to Mountain View, CA, I've been blessed to be able to attend basically every one of Neil Young's all-acoustic Bridge School Benefit Concerts for last 10 years. Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, , Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Phish, REM, Tracy Chapman, Billy Idol, Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan, James Taylor--I've seen em all. I also enjoyed Presidents of the United States of America seeing Peaches on a random Presidents Day. And I'll never forget being 12 years old and riding the crowd at a Cracker/Counting Crows show. . .the day we have crowd surfers, I'll know we've made it. . .
