Will the World be better or worse off when this man passes?
I am inclined to say better, but that's the optimist in me.
From parties to work, you'll always have a more updated blog than Reza's.

Since we seem to be having a serious posting here:
I don't think it'll make a difference. I don't think Arafat is really as bad as the media here makes him out to be. In fact, I think the Israeli leaders are just as bad as he is if not worse. Let's not forget, he was a freedom fighter and he has been fighting for a losing, oppressed side. The terrorism he has condoned is bad, but so is the state-sanctioned apartheid Israel carries out. Now, some other person who will be just like Arafat is gonna step in and carry on this vicious cycle. I just hope Israel's controversial unilateral policy works -- not because I think it's a just policy, quite the opposite, it sucks and is not justified -- because at last it may provide everyone with the start of some closure, let the Palestinians finally cut their losses and make everyone finally move on. Then maybe the Palestinians terrorists will run out of business and the Israeli's can live in some peace. But that's probably just wishful thinking.
