I tend to be pretty cynical about Dim Mak and all that crap, but on a personal note, one urban kung fu legend I can verify is the "one-inch punch." I had it demonstrated on me when I was 13 or so when I was taking karate. The grandmaster of the system performed it on me. I only weighed about 140 pounds or something, but he knocked me to the ground, back about 5 or 6 feet.
The lesson here is, the one-inch punch is no joke.
